Travel plan
After breakfast, we will leave for Telouet through the High Atlas mountains passing through the Tizi Ntichka pass reaching 2,260 m., we will visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui and have lunch there.
In the afternoon, I walk to a walled city called Ait Ben Haddou through the Ounila Valley with its Berber villages. World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO; where we will discover its most famous kasbah where films such as Gladiator, The Mummy and Babel among many others were filmed. We will continue towards Ouarzazate with its magnificent film studios and its Taourirt kasbah. Afterwards, we will go to the oasis of Skoura and its Amridil kasbah. Later, the trip will continue through the Valley of Roses and then visit the family of nomads who live in caves.
We will enter the Dades Valley and admire the hundreds of kasbahs scattered along the way. We will continue along the path towards the river and make a stop to enjoy it.
Here you will have dinner and spend the night.
In the morning, we will continue to the Todra Gorges, through the large palm grove of Tinghir, where agriculture, dates, palm trees, etc. stand out, where you will have free time to walk through the canyons about 300 meters high, the favorite place of the mountaineers.
We will continue towards Erfoud, the city of fossils where you can see how they are extracted from the quarries and worked into the most varied shapes. We will stop for lunch and then continue towards the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Free afternoon to enjoy the Berber town, its people and the dunes.
At the end of the day, you can have dinner, listen to the sound of drums in the desert night and sleep in a fully equipped nomad camp tent that you will reach by taking a camel ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in the world. North Africa in the Sahara.
We will leave Merzouga after a good shower and a good breakfast and we will head to Dades passing through Rissani, an important city of food, animals and crafts. The next stop is in Tinejdad, where we will have a delicious meal for lunch. After that, we will have the opportunity to stop to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the river. We will continue through Ouarzazate until our arrival in Marrakech to a Riad in Marrakech where we will stay.
Free afternoon until the indicated time of your flight and transfer to the airport.
