Travel plan
We will leave early in the morning towards Fez, passing through Meknes, the third imperial city of Morocco which is known as "The Versailles of Morocco" with its famous monumental doors. You will explore the Bab El Khamis and Bab El Mansour gates, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, we will go to the town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, which is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans.
Finally, we will arrive at our accommodation in Fez.
You will visit the medina of Fez with a local guide, among other places of interest such as the universities of Bou Anania and Attarine, the Nejjarine fountain and the Karaouine mosque. The rest of the day, you can enjoy this beautiful city and try typical Moroccan dishes.
At the end of the day we will go to the Riad where you will spend the night.
First thing in the morning, we will continue the route and you will be able to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. We will continue our way to Ouezzane through the Rif mountains, while enjoying the views and landscapes of the fertile olive plains. In Chefchaouen, you will admire this mountainous city, where you will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast on a terrace with panoramic views of Chefchaouen, a mountain town in the heart of the Rif, noted for its Andalusian architecture of whitewashed houses in white and indigo blue, we will explore the medina to see its streets, the Uta el-Hammam square where the great 15th century Kasbah is located, the Ras el-Maa Waterfall and of course, the color of its shops full of crafts. We will also visit the central square, and the great mosque of the city.
We will visit the famous museum that was built in the 18th century and is a wonderful place surrounded by gardens with a rooftop where you can take photographs and have an excellent view of the city.
We will continue towards Tetouan called the white dove, which houses an ancient Medina that is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO, with its enveloping streets, beautiful squares, corners and large doors that attract the curiosity of tourists. We will take a panoramic view of the city.
The next destination is the city of Assilah where you will enjoy its old walled Medina from the time of the Portuguese and its small but magical souk. Finally you can see a sunset spectacle from the beach, a viewpoint terrace or from its adorable boardwalk.
We will have dinner and stay here to rest.
In the morning, we will leave for the imperial city of Rabat and visit its magnificent monuments such as the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower, among others.
We will continue until we return to the enormous city of Casablanca, known as the economic capital of Morocco, where we will find the Hassan II mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world. Depending on the time of arrival, a guided tour will be taken to learn more about this surprising place.
Rest of the day free until the indicated time of your flight and transfer to the airport.
