Travel plan
After breakfast, we will leave for Telouet through the High Atlas mountains passing through the Tizi Ntichka pass reaching 2,260 m., we will visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui and have lunch there.
In the afternoon, walk to a walled city called Ait Ben Haddou through the Ounila Valley with its Berber villages. World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO; where we will discover its most famous kasbah where films such as Gladiator, The Mummy and Babel among many others were filmed. We will continue towards Ouarzazate with its magnificent film studios and its Taourirt kasbah. Afterwards, we will go to the oasis of Skoura and its Amridil kasbah, where our hotel accommodation with dinner awaits us.
When you wake up, the trip will continue through the Valley of Roses and then visit the family of nomads who live in caves.
We will enter the Dades Valley and admire the hundreds of kasbahs scattered along the way. We will continue along the path towards the river and make a stop to enjoy it.
We will continue to the Todra Gorges, through the large palm grove of Tinghir, where agriculture, dates, palm trees, etc. stand out, and you will have free time to walk through the canyons about 300 meters high, the favorite place for mountaineers.
Here you will have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast, we will descend towards Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and we will follow the course of the palm grove with the best dates in Morocco. In Erfoud, the city of fossils, you can see how they are extracted from the quarries and worked into the most varied shapes.
We will continue towards the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Free afternoon to enjoy the Berber town, its people and the dunes.
Once at the accommodation, you will have dinner and spend the night in a hotel at the foot of the dunes to recharge your batteries for the next day.
You will wake up early to see the sunrise. At noon we will visit a nomadic family. In the shade of a tree, you will see how Berber pizza is made and then you will taste it.
After lunch you will rest for a while and then we will take a tour through the desert. We will tour one of the tracks used in the Paris-Dakkar Rally in 4×4; and we will visit the town of Khamlia (town of the Blacks) where we will attend a Gnawa music concert performed by a group of black Berbers originally from Sudan and sub-Saharan Africa, the Mifiss mines and we will meet the Berber nomads of the desert.
At the end of the day, you can have dinner, listen to the sound of drums in the desert night and sleep in a fully equipped nomad camp tent that you will reach by taking a camel ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in the world. North Africa in the Sahara.
After a shower and breakfast, we will head to Rissani, an important city of food, animals and crafts. We will visit its market, stop to take photographs and have a quiet tea.
We will continue through Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and we will follow the course of the palm grove with the best dates in Morocco.
We will enter Midelt where we will make a short stop for lunch and continue through Azrou, a wonderful cedar forest with monkeys in freedom where there is an important craft center specialized in cedar wood work.
Finally, we will pass through Ifrane, a city known as the Swiss of Morocco with a charming ski resort until we reach our accommodation in Fez.
Free afternoon until the indicated time of your flight and transfer to the airport.
